Alissa is a dynamic leader, speaker, and coach committed to elevating design teams around the world.

Alissa currently leads the user experience vision, architecture, operations, and culture for an 80+ member globally distributed design organization at Autodesk Construction. She is an Advisor at Designer Fund, backing exceptional founders and empowering them with design to improve the world. Alissa also coaches design leaders through taking their impact and careers to the next level.

Previously, Alissa was Head of Design at PlanGrid, the global leader in construction productivity software, where she grew the design team from 5 to 25+ design, research, and content experts. PlanGrid was acquired by Autodesk for $900M. She was also Director of User Experience at Brigade, the world’s first network for voters, and led design for Intuit’s Payroll division where she managed 15+ product lines powering prosperity around the world.

As an active member of the design community, Alissa regularly speaks at high profile conferences and has been featured in numerous industry publications.

Alissa holds advanced degrees in Human-Computer Interaction and Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. In her free time, you can find her building houses and exploring the great outdoors.
